Such cramps are never serious, but can cause pain. This occurs mostly during sleep and in the thighs, calves and feet. It lasts from few seconds to few minutes. Sometimes even the whole night.
Difference between leg cramps and restless legs
These have only one thing they share as same: night happening. Restless legs cause no pain and just feel uncomfortable. Moving the leg eases up the pain, but cramps still hurt.

These cramps can be also from dehydration, problems of endocrine issues, neuromuscular issues, Parkinson’s and liver problems too.

- Warm baths at night
- Water workouts
- Magnesium and potassium pills
- Horse chestnut
- Ergonomic shoes
- Heat pad
For curing night spasms:
Sit on the floor and stretch the legs in front. Flex the feet and pull the toes inward.
Then pull the feet and stretch. Shake up the legs to have better blood flow. Rub in circle movements. Bed sheets must not be too tight. And then eat 1 tbsp mustard.
